BUILD THE BLEND

What You'll Need

The Blend

4 drops Cedarwood
3 drops Orange
2 drops Bergamot
1 drop Patchouli

How to Blend

Fill your diffuser according to its manufacturer's instructions. Add the cedarwood, orange, bergamot and patchouli, then diffuse according to the directions for your device.

Start with less if you're using a smaller diffuser or scenting a smaller room. You can always increase the fragrance gradually.

What Fallen Leaves Smells Like

Fallen Leaves takes a woodier approach to fall home fragrance.

Cedarwood forms the foundation with its dry, natural wood character. Orange and bergamot bring brightness through the middle of the blend, while a small amount of patchouli adds the earthy depth that gives the composition its autumn character.

The result is warm, dry and woodsy with a touch of citrus—an essential oil diffuser blend for fall that doesn't depend on cinnamon or heavy baking spices to feel seasonal.

A Fall Diffuser Blend Without Cinnamon

Fall fragrance doesn't have to mean cinnamon, pumpkin or dessert-inspired scents.

Woods, citrus and earthy botanicals can create a completely different interpretation of the season. Fallen Leaves combines cedarwood, orange, bergamot and patchouli to create the aromatic impression of dry leaves, warm wood and late-afternoon autumn light.

It's a natural fall fragrance for living rooms, entryways and evenings when you want the house to feel seasonal without smelling like a bakery.

Make It With Chandeau

Build Fallen Leaves with Chandeau single-note essential oils. Start with warm Cedarwood, add the bright citrus character of Orange and Bergamot, then finish with a small amount of earthy Patchouli.

Each oil can also be diffused individually or used in other Chandeau Blend Recipes, making it easy to create different natural fragrances from the same collection of single notes.

A NOTE ON DIFFUSING

Essential oil amounts should be adjusted to suit your diffuser size, your preferred scent strength, and the diffuser manufacturer's recommendations. Do not exceed the amount recommended for your device.
