What You'll Need
Autumn, bottled by you.
There is a particular scent to the first truly cool days of the season—warm woods, dried leaves, citrus peel and just enough spice in the air.
Autumn House brings those notes together in a warm, layered diffuser blend designed for the days when open windows give way to cozy evenings indoors.
Sweet orange and bergamot create a bright citrus opening. Cedarwood and patchouli bring warmth and depth, while lavender softens the blend. A single drop of clove finishes it with the unmistakable character of autumn spice.
The result is seasonal without being overly sweet: warm, woody, softly spiced and distinctly autumn.
The Blend
Add to your diffuser:
3 drops Orange
2 drops Cedarwood
2 drops Bergamot
1 drop Patchouli
1 drop Lavender
1 drop Clove
Total: 10 drops
Add the oils to your diffuser according to its instructions, then allow the blend a few minutes to move through the room.
For a softer scent, begin with fewer drops while keeping roughly the same proportions.
What it smells like
Warm · Woody · Spiced Citrus
Orange and bergamot keep the blend bright rather than heavy, while cedarwood and patchouli create its warm, woody foundation. Lavender sits quietly in the background, and clove adds a subtle dry spice.
Think autumn leaves, warm wood and freshly peeled citrus rather than a sugary pumpkin candle.
Make it yours
For a brighter Autumn House, add another drop of Orange.
For a woodier version, add another drop of Cedarwood.
For a more spiced version, increase the Clove carefully—a little goes a long way.
A NOTE ON DIFFUSING
Essential oil amounts should be adjusted to suit your diffuser size, your preferred scent strength, and the diffuser manufacturer's recommendations. Do not exceed the amount recommended for your device.
